Amadeus Guitar DUO und MeisterSinger -
A timely relationship

Since 1991, Dale Kavanagh (Canada) and Thomas Kirchhoff (Germany) have given more than 750 concerts in more than 40 European countries as well as in North, Central and South America and Asia. Critics and audiences alike are enthused by their highly sensitive creative ability, which fills large auditoriums with a warm, rich sound. Both teach at the Musikhochschule Detmold and organize one of the largest International Guitar Symposiums in the world.

The 17th Symposium was a huge success. After the opening concert of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Manfred Brassler presented a Monograph to Thomas Kirchhoff.

Both he and his wife Dale are MeisterSinger aficionados from day one. Manfred Brassler tells of the beginning of a friendship: Thomas Kirchhoff had read an article about MeisterSinger in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (one of the major German daily newspapers). In his first e-mail he expressed his enthusiasm concerning the philosophy of tranquility and clarity he felt emanating from our watches. According to him, MeisterSinger isn’t Rolex and the Amadeus Duo isn’t as popular as Pavarotti, but even so, we both are doing our jobs well."

It’s a fact that Dale Kavanagh and Thomas Kirchhoff are considered one of the best guitar duos in the world. It’s not for us to judge Meistersinger’s position.
