In the design bureaux of many watchmakers, including some of the largest, the addition of various details serves to create individuality in a watch. MeisterSinger takes an entirely opposite route. The question that arises for every watch in their collection is "Could it be any simpler?"
From this starting point, it is perhaps still a relief to know that even MeisterSinger has the willingness to expand their styling concept, even if only subtly, as one might expect. The Edition ED1.05, in a limited edition of 222 watches, is characterised not only by the pure black and white interplay of hands and dial as in previous models. Its numerals are embossed, gilded with red gold and polished to clearly distinguish them from the matt silver dial. The shape of the hand is the same needle shape as before but its colour is the same as that of the embossed numerals. Furthermore, instead of a manually wound movement, the single-handed watch is driven by automatic clockwork.
